Our Story
Dr. Connor Edwards D.C.

Hello! I am Dr. Connor. I am a Chiropractor and co-owner of Edwards Family Chiropractic in Denton, Texas. I have a passion for helping people live better lives. Many people come to me with the goal to decrease pain so that they can work, play, and spend time with family without being limited by discomfort; however, many people stay because they see first hand how spinal care can improve their quality of life on top of pain-relieving benefits. I work with a large variety of patients from athletes wanting to improve sport performance, people who are still searching for relief from their acute and chronic pain, and people looking to improve their general well-being. I dedicate my time to figuring out what makes each person’s goals unique and create a plan specific to each person to help them accomplish those goals.

I was born in Louisiana but I have been a Texas resident since around 2005. Most of my education took place in Texas. I graduated from Marcus High School in Flower Mound where I played varsity golf. After graduation, I attended the University of North Texas for 2.5 years before I transferred to Texas Christian University on the Dean’s scholarship where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Movement Science. After undergraduate school, I committed myself to the Chiropractic profession. I enrolled at Parker University in Dallas, TX and earned the President’s scholarship. At Parker University I earned two additional Bachelor’s degrees in Health and Wellness and in Anatomy before ultimately graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic as Valedictorian of my class.
My clinical journey began at Parker University in Dallas Texas where I was selected to serve through the Sports Performance program working with Adaptives from the Dallas Amputee Network and sports teams such as the WNBA’s Dallas Wings. We focused on restoring proper joint function and improving functional movement patterns. That opportunity led me to be selected to serve our veterans at the Dallas VA as a spinal care provider. My time at the Dallas VA was invaluable. I was able to provide our veterans with the care they deserve and help them find relief while gaining experience in a large variety of complicated cases. After graduating as Valedictorian of my class in 2019, I worked as an employee for about a year before deciding to open a clinic with my wife, Dr. Jaylee, in 2020. As mentioned before I see a wide range of patients for many different conditions, but since graduating I have also sought additional training in presurgical frozen shoulder and TMJ Disorder.
Just like many others, I found Chiropractic out of desperation. In high school I suffered from severe low back pain resulting from 4 bulging discs in my lumbar spine. I was a competitive golfer at Marcus at the time, and the pain prevented me from practicing. I became unable to swing or carry my golf bag. After failed rehabilitation and being overly prescribed with pain medications I was introduced to Chiropractic and it all clicked for me. It made so much sense that taking medication simply attempts to cover up symptoms but does not actually fix the underlying issue. It amazed me how by simply restoring proper motion and stability into the spine, my body began to heal, and pain began to disappear. After a trial of care, I was able to play golf unrestricted and without any pain. My mobility improved, I felt more energetic, and I just began to feel healthier in general. Through Chiropractic, I was able to stop taking medication and get back to playing golf. Now I get to share my passion for Chiropractic and my expertise to help patients get back to doing the things they love and thriving instead of surviving.
